Judo "Father's Day"

One year we enjoyed Judo of activity organized by the Delegation of Sports City of Getafe used to mark the feast of "Father's Day."

This time we participated in the third and most numerous of the three shifts that were established for this year's activity. Students and guests (parents, relatives ...) of Lorkan Judo Club (CEIP "Salvador Dali" CEIP "La Cañada" and CEIP "Dulce Chacón) students participated with Lee Gym Móstoles in the last turn with a total of about 340 participants between children and companions. The day in three shifts had alrrededor of 950 athletes who demonstrated their skills throughout the day on a mat of 560 square meters.

Local Championship Results

On Sunday March 7 students from the School of Judo school moved to the Sports Centre "Cerro Buenavista" to participate in the Municipal Sports Games category Getafe Benjamin maculino and female.

This time there were four judoka who competed in these championships Local, on one hand Adriana which premiered this year in competition and on the other, Edi , Ismael Roberto and had already participated this year in Móstoles Local Championships which got some great results.

Once again the judo Judo School CEIP "Salvador Dali" did not disappoint to the public that filled the hall and their guests and making a high quality Judo got some excellent results:

• Adriana, was the first Adriana while participating in an official competition and his debut could not be better. Won all their matches by the maximum difference, even had to make some more for errors in the table of your mat.

• Eduardo ; A new gold medal for Edi and with this go two this season. So far Edi season has not lost a single match and every day surprises us with new techniques and better Judo. With the exception of the first battle in which he faced his opponent and some unfair refereeing decisions, not prevented him from winning all his fights were won by the maximum difference as Adriana.

• Ismael, Ishmael also had won the gold medal in Móstoles, but this time the lack of luck and the fact that lately has not been made all the necessary training in these Championships will have to settle for 7th place and the corresponding medal. Surely this will result serves to further motivate and train the next race.

• Roberto, Roberto made an incredible race and pulled the thorn from Móstoles Local Championships where despite having done a very good competition, won the bronze medal. This time got the silver medal by a very good fighting and yielding only in the final for the minor difference (he lost by decision).

Sustainable tourism in the Moroccan desert

A 12 hour bus ride from Fez, one of the major cities of Morocco, is the desert of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga. Virginity incentive environment to practice, almost without thinking, some of the criteria of sustainable tourism. We leave the hostel Kasbah Lahmada to the Black Desert. A delicious tea and a tagine of couscous cooked by the hands of the principal female figure in a nomadic family. About three hours by camel to the huts made of padded, where we spent one of the coldest nights of the last days. Incredible sunrise, breakfast and pray for three hours on camel back to the hostel. Beauty everywhere, and everywhere the chance to practice tourism ... almost no sustainable use of natural resources (minimum water and energy), proper waste management, acquisition of typical products of local culture to bring a gift, enjoy the customs and cuisine. The only trace left was that of the camels.
